17 day diet.

Hey everyone. I have a few questions for anyone that is on the 17 day diet.
First, I ordered the book, and it should be arriving tomorrow. I would like to ideally start on Thursday or Friday, after I've had a chance to read/shop. Basically, my biggest concern is this: I am getting married on November 11 of this year. I want to lose as much as I can before then, and keep it off. My dilemma is my dress. Right now, it is already too big, so I am going to have it altered. The bridal shop says I need to get in there by the end of September to get it altered, and then at that time, no significant weight loss (or gain). So, I was wondering, since I will probably only be halfway through the second cycle or phase (i'm not sure how that works yet  ) if I should just stop altogether at the end of September or skip to the last stage to maintain or how I should go about this. Any help is appreciated! Thanks so much.

Go ahead and continue but lose it slowly b/c that's healthier anyway. Good luck to you. I hope everything works out. :flowerforyou:0

Gosh, I have no idea, but a friend at work just told me that two of our former coworkers (man and woman) lost 15 pounds and 8 pounds respectively doing the diet.0

Well I got the book, and it does say that if you lose all of the weight you wanted on the first cycle, you can skip to the maintenance cycle. THanks0
