How do you delete an ingredient from a recipe?

I have several recipes I make in bulk. such as a salad, which vary in ingredients and amounts. If omitting an ingredient I change the amount to 1 gram, practically negating the effect on the nutritional values.0

On the website, edit the recipe and hover your pointer to the right of the ingredient. The options edit quantity, remove, and replace will appear. Click on remove.
On an Android device, go to recipes/meals/foods, click on the recipe, click on the three dots in the top right corner, choose edit recipe, click to check the box to the right of the ingredient you want to delete, click on the trash can.
If you're using an iOS device, say so, and maybe someone will come along who can help you. In the meantime, if you can find your way into the edit mode, I would try swiping the unwanted ingredient ... left?0
