Jumping jacks and ankles.

I have really bad legs/ankles and just power-walking can make them sore but I hate doing exercises like Yoga and Pilates so I continue with the high-impact workouts. I know jumping jacks are really good cardio exercises to do but I can barely manage 25 without my ankles killing me, even with the right shoes and support. Are there any exercises that are just as good as jumping jacks but maybe less-impact?

You can try to move one leg out at a time switching legs but still move arms the same.0

I have the same issue but I just get around it by doing as much as I can then having a break and then doing some more after a rest =]0
