Hi,
I have been trying to lose weight for awhile, but seem to be having a difficult time. I am looking for some support and maybe even a walking buddy, if you are in the LBC area of CA. After turning 52, this Wright loss journey seemed to go from a journey to a struggle. I am open to advice and suggestions. I am meal
Prepped this week with a skinny taste recipes and hoping that is a good start.
Looking forward to hearing from others in this community.

Hello. It sounds as if you are serious if you have already worked on your meal prep. Congratulations on getting a head start! You can be my friend if you like. I log my diary daily and you need to look for friends that will "share" their food diary with you so you can exchange ideas, recipes (if you ask) and positive vibes. I can't be your walking pal, but I can cheer your progress on from Illinois!1

Maybe hold off on the walking until the smoke clears. 😊 I think your on the right track, a combination of limiting your calories and increasing your active. You can totally blow plan with one snack. Keep going strong.0

If weight management has become a struggle, it's not because of your age, but because your attitude (which includes calling it a struggle, which is only natural if you've been on a weightloss journey for a long long time), your habits, and possibly your environment, have changed.
Losing weight is simple - eat less, move more. That is something you do, not try. People who accept this, win.
You can eat less of anything. Trying to stick to some diet or prescibed recipes, is a recipe for failure.
Have a good plan. A good plan is your servant. You are the master.3 -

Love your quote and attitude. I agree with you completely.

JustJules, I know how you feel, I struggle, but it's because I do not regularly eat less and move more........ feel free to add me as a friend, I can't walk with you since I'm on the other side of the US; although I'd love a walking buddy!
Although I warn you now, I am not on on the weekends - I just sit in front of a computer too long all week to want to sit in front of one all weekend! But during the week I'm here every day!
Ya'll remind me of this....... Love Yoda!!!
