Five most embarrassing songs in your collection

What are your top five? These are the songs that you never want anyone to see on your playlist, but don’t want to delete.

My five:
  1. “Fat Girls and Weed”, by Renegade Rail. I think the title says it all. But the lyrics make me laugh and it has nice harmonies.
  2. “Blurred Lines”, by Robin Thicke. I’m embarrassed even when I listen to this in private w/headphones. Afterwards, I always feel like I need a shot of penicillin.
  3. “Every Picture Tells a Story”, by Rod Stewart. Misogyny and racism in the same song, but young Rod could strut the stage with the best of them. And fabulous Ronnie Wood guitar.
  4. “I Like Chinese”, by Eric Idle/Monty Python. Typical Python uses a collection of ethnic slurs to lampoon westerners who really believe them. Very funny, but I’m afraid most people today wouldn’t understand the satire.
  5. “I Drove All Night”, by Celine Dion. Just because.

OK—what are yours?

You're not supposed to actually listen to "Blurred Lines". You're supposed to watch the video with the sound muted.

About three songs from this d-bag/Portuguese Justin Beiber:

    This one is slightly worse:

This one is pretty high on the list of nonsense (and you're welcome):

This song is embarrassing, when my sister and I think we're alone playing beach volleyball or tennis or our late night swims, it starts playing and other people pass by.

I listen to a lot of Kpop, so I'd say anything by one of the more bubbly girl groups like Twice, Red Velvet, Girl's Generation, and the like.

Get Low - Lil Jon. As a woman I should be completely offended by this song, but its the best squat song ever

I'm not embarrassed by anything in my playlist. However...

    Don't Tell Me - Madonna
    Dirrty - Christina
    ENTIRE CATALOGUE - Barry Manilow
Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald - Gordon Lightfoot (I love a good narrative song)
Any and all movie/Broadway musical soundtracks that I will shamelessly sing along to. Favorites include Hamilton, Rent, Hairspray, Les Miz, The Music Man, WEST SIDE STORY... *le sigh* West Side Story...

    Kyary Pamyu Pamyu
    Dot Dot Curve
    Barry Manilow
    Neil Sedaka
    Tim Curry
    Tom Waits

I don't know if I would say I am 'embarrassed' by having these artists' music on my iTunes library, BUT, I do tend to avoid listening to them around other people. *shrug*

Before our son could drive, I would pick him up from school with Cher 's 'do you believe in life after love ' blaring on the car stereo with the window down and sunroof open.

That is evil and I love it. My husband used to drive our teenage daughter nuts by jamming to that "Milkshake" song and purposely getting the lyrics wrong whenever her friends were around. "I've got milkshakes for the boys in my backyard..."

At the gym yesterday, I thought of you guys when 'N Sync "Bye Bye Bye" came on my playlist.
