Looking for advice

Hello everyone i am a 6’7 20 year old weighing at only 165 pounds. I have been strugling in gaining weight for the last 3 years and any advice you guys give me is very much appreciated

Eat more. Yes, it's that simple. Why are you eating too little? Figure that out, at least throw some possible explanations at us, and do something else, and you win.0

Enter your stats into this website, choose that you want to gain weight, and then eat that many calories. Full fat, high calorie foods are going to be your friends. Peanut butter, ice cream, GOMAD...0 -

Well ive been eating a lot for a couple of months now(3000+calories daily), and i can’t even get a belly , and i cant make time to work out becouse i have 12 hour daily shifts at the ER and i constantly feel tired.0

Have your thyroid checked to make sure its not under active if you have not already.
If you have an its normal then try an eat more or do less exercise if your doing a lot.0 -

General advice:
Peanut butter
Full fat dairy
Drink your calories
Don't do unneccessary cardio1 -

Eat fewer calories than your body uses in a day - weight loss.
Eat more calories than your body uses in a day - weight gain.
Eat the same amount of calories that your body uses in a day - weight maintenance.
The trick is figuring out how many calories your body uses in a day. That's why you answer all the questions when you set up your account on this site. It's an estimate, but it's a good starting point.
So, start eating 3600 calories per day, logging your food to insure your intake, and see what happens with your weight.
If you are not strength training, all that weight gain is going to be fat, not muscle. Just FYI.2 -

You're overthinking it. Manipulate your calories to affect weight change, exercise for health, fitness, and/or aesthetic goals, you'll just need to compensate for those calories accordingly. If you want to gain muscle as part of this weight gain, a proven program for strength and muscle gain will be most beneficial.2 -
