Time for a ring upgrade?

I've been gluten free for just over 100 days now and I'm down 23.5lbs (I've also been exercising and eating healthier overall). On Monday I almost lost my wedding and engagement rings when I was washing my hands at work! They slide right off now! The engagement ring was 120 at a pawn shop and the wedding ring was 70 at an Irish imports shop. Neither is very valuable monetarily, but they mean a lot to me because of what they represent. I have no idea if either can be resized (E-ring is white gold, W-ring is sterling silver) but maybe that just means it's time for hubby to upgrade them to celebrate my weight-loss? I have at least 70lbs to go, probably 100 to my final goal, but maybe at the end of this I can convince him

Awesome victory! Way to go!
When my wedding ring started falling off I put it away and bought a cheap $15 cubic zirconia set on Amazon to wear everyday. Nobody knows the difference, and some day when I'm at my goal weight my gift to myself will be getting my real bands resized.5 -
Don't forget in the mean time they sell lots of different kinds of ring size "adjusters" https://www.amazon.com/Invisible-Adjuster-Loose-Rings-Assorted/dp/B07C15P2F7/ref=asc_df_B07C15P2F7/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=241934966344&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=10472491873961951761&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9030450&hvtargid=pla-469311368124&psc=1

I LOVE the stainless steel options on Amazon!!! This is the set I'm wearing now since I lost my first weight loss and they are getting loose. Just today I was like, 'time to ring shop soon'!! Lol, it's cool because I haven't lost a pants size yet, nor do I want to buy clothes when I'm still taking off the weight so new cheap rings which are stunning and durable are a nice treat!!3 -
I may pick out a cheap Amazon ring myself. Lately I've just been wearing the silicone ones I wear to the gym all the time.
I want to maintain my weight for a year before I resize. I've had them resized before and I don't think you are supposed to do it very many times. I want to be sure I'm done changing sizes for a while.3 -
That's a beautiful ring set!1

I bought a really thin gold filled band on Etsy and it's smaller then my usual ring size. I plan on buying progressively smaller rings to hold my wedding rings in place and then when I'm maintaining I'll finally get my rings resized2

Jewelers have this clear plastic band you can wrap around them to hold them in place. That's what im doing until I'm ready to resize them0
