Oooo i like the way you think!0 -
Watching films.
Playing DOOM (the original).
Driving alone while listening to music.0 -
Pet a cat if possible. A dog will do. I think about how animals live in the moment and I should try to enjoy all of mine, because being alive is in general good, so far.
Think about all the positive things in my life, and scold myself for not being more appreciative.
Long shower, go for a walk, listen to music. Distraction.
Focus on a perspective shift.1 -

Depending on what I need a pick me up from ...
* Talk with my sister, mum or brother. Bounce my angst off "loving sound boards."
* Game of tennis or beach volleyball ( zero crowd works best).
* Run up through the orchards to the waterfall. Commune with nature and be thankful. I should actually do what a friend does, he buys native CA forest seedlings, takes it to the top of a mountain and plants it along the trail, leaving all his issues buried there with it.
* Dive into the pool and swim ( I like it unheated or set at 55-60°F... Usually, I will run through the issues lap after lap. It's likely unsolved, but a resolution is met. For me at least. I've made peace with every possible outcome, despite feeling like I have lost a game of Go, occasionally ( usually when I've allowed my heart to be involved). Exiting feels like I have been regenerated, where nothing phases me @situation.1 -
