someone please motivate me

I need to exercise today but I just can't bring myself to do it.HELP!!!I fl solazy ad sluggish.also I have been eating for no reason.What do I do?I danced this morning with my girls for about 45 minutes but I need to do a bit more as I over ate this morning.

    Stay focused. You can do this. Take the girls to the park. Play on the swing set. Take plenty of water and enjoy. Exercise doesn't have to be hard.

    think about it this way:

    how CRAPPY will you feel at the end of the night when you think, gosh, i shouldve just DONE it!

    and think of how good you'll feel knowing you did it. :happy:

    i force myself when i dont want to go to the gym. i SO want to turn right and go home, but i force myself to drive to the gym. and once i get started, i'm SO glad i did.

    this may sound silly but go to your full length mirror - look at yourself..

    tell yourself - you are worth this - exercise will help give you energy - you are strong - you are beautiful - you can do this - now do it....

    I have to pep talk myself all the time...

    well get off the dang computer and go for a walk or do some stretching or pushups or jumping jacks.....more action less talk (whine)

  • I felt like this yesterday, I know it's hard to get yourself in gear. Once you start doing it, though, it will be easier. You'll feel great once you get it done! :flowerforyou:

    I felt like this yesterday but I got on my bike and rode for 30 minutes and burned 415 calories. I don't even think about it, I go look in the mirror and it reminds me that I need to do it so I come back out in the living room and I do it. Girl you can do this.

    Have any workout tapes at home. POP one in. Its raining here so I did not run but popped in a bootcamp tape. It helps to make you feel good that you did something.......
    Have stairs run up and down 100 times that works too:laugh:

    I too felt like this yesterday, went to the gym, did my 30 mins but was watchin the clock:laugh: As you can see, I post on here to things that interest me cause I usually won't eat and type at the same time, makes laptop yucky:tongue: just get up and do something, clean a bit, take out the trash and get some fresh air, etc. Even small bursts of something will add up over the day and it wo't feel like you really did a full workout but you will have gotten it in! Have a good day!

    Thanks Dave I needed that !! And thanks everyone else for the words of encouragement.I think its just that I am bored of the same exercise tape and I need to switch again.

    Go look at yourself naked in the mirror- if you're not 100% satisfied (which I doubt anyone is :laugh: ) then you may be more motivated to go work out

    I felt like that this morning. I felt kindy lousy when I woke up but I went to the gym and exercised through the bad feelings and ended up feeling pretty good....after my shower!

    I do a different exercise every day so I do not get bored and my body stays challenged.
