Negative calories not registering

Hi Guys

I’ve been on holiday in Cyprus for 4 days and noticed that my negative calories aren’t registering any more on mfp. (Using fitbit Alta hr). They seem to show up on mfp before I put my watch on but hen as soon as I do any activity, it gives me the calories as a plus instead of subtracting from the negative calories.
Anyone had this problem and know how to solve? I really depend on my Fitbit and it’s help me no end to get weight off so I wouldn’t want to mess the figures up and end up eating more than I should.

On an average day I do between 5500-6300 steps a day and some days I’ll do more. So it’s not as if I’m doing more here. I’ll do maybe the same here or at least aim for that.

Did you by any chance travel to a different time zone? I had huge issues with synchronising MFP and Fitbit when I travelled to the States from the UK last year. I can’t quite remember why, but maybe one of them adjusted zones automatically and the other didn’t, or something like that? I then manually set the time zone on both, and it went back to normal.

I’m in Cyprus so two hours ahead of the UK. My watch changed time as soon as I arrived. Don’t know is that has anything to do with it? Do you think I should manually set the time?

Your Fitbit is probably set to synchronize time with your phone. MFP requires you to change time zones. There is no point in trying to troubleshoot anything till after your time zones match across the board for all your apps and devices as this is a guaranteed source of synchronization issues.
