When your students don’t recognize you...

A huge NSV for me today...my students (whom I’ve taught for 4 years) came back to school this morning and they were walking right past me. I usually get lots of hugs so I was miffed! Later they came to my class and realized I was still me. I’ve changed so much during the last few months that my children thought I was one of the new teachers at our school!! I thanked them for the compliments and used the moment to teach about living a healthy life and how good you feel when you treat your body well! It was awesome!

    That’s great! I’m also a teacher. I love it when my students tell me I’ve lost weight! It feels really good when someone notices all your hard work! Great job 👍🏼 so proud for you!!
