I am interested to know how you rewarded yourself for reaching your goal. And did you reward yourself along the way? And how? How did reaching your goal affect your life? Look forward to reading. Hoping for some inspiration.

The best way is to set mini goals..and each time those are achieved "reward" yourself

New clothes! There are a lot of clothes I've always wanted to wear, but wouldn't look good on my body. When I get to where I want to be, I'm taking myself shopping!0

The biggest reward was wearing my size 8 jeans. Actually, that was my goal - to get back in those jeans by my birthday (5 months after I started exercising daily). I hadn't tried them on at all and thought I still had several lbs/inches to go but decided to try them on my birthday anyway. They weren't even tight!!!
I also bought several new outfits, mostly because I had to since I'd dropped 2 sizes. But I won't pretend I didn't enjoy buying the smaller size again0 -
when I got to my goal last year I had a slap up meal and rejoiced in the fact I didn't have to 'diet' anymore...I put back on 3lbs that had taken me 4 weeks to lose but having felt so happy about not having to diet I couldn't bring myself to go back to counting points (I was on Weight Watchers). now I've got 20lbs to lose again!!
Don't make my mistake and reward yourself with food!! Make mini goals and reward yourself with things that have meaning to you and you can treasure forever to remind yourself of how hard you've worked.
Good luck on your journey xx0 -
When I reach my 10 lb mini goal, I'm buying myself a new shirt and treating myself to a movie.
When I reach my 20 lb mini goal, I'm probably going to treat myself to a new haircut and color.
When I reach my 30 lb mini goal, I'm going to treat myself to a massage.
When I reach my 40 lb mini goal, I'm going to treat myself to more clothes.
When I reach 50 lbs (my final goal), I'm going to treat myself to an iPhone!
If I lose or maintain that weight for a month, each month that I maintain or lose, I'll treat myself to a new item of clothing or a haircut. Since I like to change my style AND my haircuts/colors often, it'll be GREAT motivation to keep going!0 -
A Pandora bracelet. I get a new charm for every three consecutive months I stay at goal0

With the satisfaction of knowing that I weigh less.0

Anything non food related for me, haha0

This is the best gift of all by far!0 -
After that first 10 pounds lost (and stayed lost for a month), I bought a pair of gold hoop earrings.
After these next 10 pounds stay off for a month, I will get new jeans and work clothes.
When I finally lose the last 5 pounds (of belly fat) and keep it off for 3 months, I am going to reward myself with a bracelet.
The biggest reward is that I am relearning healthy eating habits!0 -

I didn't really celebrate when I got to goal... but I did celebrate my 100 pound loss milestone! I got flowers from the staff at WW, took some time off from work to spend with my grandson, got a card and gift certificate from some close friends, and Fiance and I went out to dinner. Was a memorable occasion.
But when I got to goal (Lifetime at WW), it was a bit under-whelming. I knew that although I had reached goal, I still had to track my food intake (this is a necessity for me to stay on track), exercise, attend my weekly WW meetings, etc. So although I got to goal, I knew I wasn't "done," that this is a lifestyle. I did eventually buy myself a "good job on getting to goal" gift, but it had nothing to do with weight loss or exercise... it was for my scrapbooking obession! LOL0 -
I want a tattoo0

I will be buying myself a pair of $100 designer jeans! Never had any before. I love jeans.0

a huge meal at mcdonalds with extra everything followed by taco bell and then some kfc... followed by a sonic ice cream and a coney dog...
oh wait...
um... new clothes? yeah.. that...0 -
i've been thinking a lot about this. i can't say oh a manicure/night out/new shoes/clothes...i do these things for myself all the time so they really aren't extra extra special.
i am thinking i will buy myself an hermes scarf. i have wanted one since i was a wee kiddo and i would never spend that kind of money on a scarf normally.0 -
My goals are their own rewards, honestly0

Yeah my goals are rewards...I don't have a lot of extra money to spend on things, So I haven't rewarded myself yet. I want to just get some new clothes when I get to the end of the journey :P0

It wasn't actually a reward, but I needed an entirely new wardrobe! Considering I have always hated to shop, it was kind of a catch-22. But trying on smaller sizes and having them either fit or be loose was a reward all by itself! My new positive, happy outlook is the ultimate reward though.0

When I hit my "100 miles walked in August" goal, I'm getting $25 worth of new songs from iTunes. Has the extra benefit of making me happier about walking.
As I'm losing weight, I'm getting to go "shopping" in my own closet, for clothes that I haven't worn in about 7 years. I'll also have to be buying some new clothes as well, and am anticipating a much happier time in the dressing room!0 -
Oohh, I want a tattoo, too! But my plan is a shopping trip to Victoria's Secret. I used to be a B cup and I LIKED it. I do not like these over the shoulder boulder holders I have to wear now. I cannot wait to buy COTTON bras with only two hooks and thin straps! LOL0

I'm still on my way and yet to indulge in any rewards but I have a huge goal keeping me motivated at the moment.
In 5 weeks I am going to Bali with an amazing group of women who I find truly inspiring for many different reasons. Amongst them are some gorgeous women who look awesome even after having children etc etc and I find them truly inspiring that they have kept themselves looking GREAT when I know that most of the time, that takes a lot of hard work! Their persistance is driving me to look my best for my holiday in late September.
So we can share a cocktail by the pool and I won't feel self conscious of myself/my body whilst with them.
I can't wait to get there - every time I am tempted by food, I just imagine myself in that bathing suit, and the image stops me!
I am on a mission to get back to my wedding day weight which will be HUGE for me if I achieve it. (I never thought I could get there again!)
I plan on rewarding myself with a few massages in Bali and hopefully some nice new summer dresses too.0
