*kitten*, shower, shave, eat breakfast, work, eat while working, work some more, eat some more, work even more. Come home to eat, then maybe work some more. Try to sleep, but might get paged for even more work.

Guess I work for a living...

I'm an historian by trade -- still write a bit but have been working as a tour operator in recent years, focusing on creating tours around Scotland since Scottish and Celtic history are my specialties. I previously trained in psychology and worked in mental health but hated it.

I spent 32 years working for the Department of Defense, mostly in international and technology transfer. I retired as the Deputy Director for a small government agency dealing with direct commercial sales (between companies and foreign countries and foreign acquisition of U.S, companies of interest to our national security. We had about 250 senior people. I retired in 2006 and now I just do whatever I feel like.

Production Planner and Scheduler, but, lately, I try to keep a low profile, stay in my office and count the days to retirement. wu9nlg3mk3zz.png
