Hi, my name is Chelsea. I’ve gained a lot of weight since nursing school. I’m 5’6 and 170 lb. i do go to the gym, I’ve been using a lot of weights lately, but i am adding in more cardio to my work out regimen. I just started keto 2 days ago. Anyone have tips? Recipes? Good ideas of how to start and prep?

I'm also keto!! My biggest advice is dont get discouraged and stick with it!! Plateaus can be tough but then there's the WHOOSH and you start losing again. I absolutely love how I feel on it and have NEVER been successful with anything else. LOVE keto!!
Feel free to add me if youd like!

There are a lot of keto/low carb facebook groups maybe join a few of those. I like Ken Berry and Eric Berg on youtube. A good website is ruledme.com. Pinterest and YouTube both have a lot of keto/low carb recipes.

I've been keto for 4 months and still going strong. It's going to be difficult at times, but just stick with it.
Download a good app to track your macros and track your food. At least for a little bit so you get an idea for how many calories and carbs are in everything. Also... read labels on EVERYTHING.
I really like Keto Connect on youtube. They have a website and a cookbook as well. Great videos and great recipes.

Oh and as for food... keep it simple at first. Meat and non starchy veggies. Have low carb snacks on hand like pickles... lots and lots of pickles lol.
