Military acquired eating disorder

Yes, I said that correctly. I was diagnosed with an eating disorder that they now recognize as coming from military life. Apparently working out too much, eating too little, being fixated on weight, then over doing it on food and alcohol and starting the whole cycle over again is wrong. Needless to say I’ve spent 31 years doing this, 23 years active. So I’m a little broken. I’m on a ton of medication that not only make it hard to lose weight but makes it super easy to gain. I work my *kitten* off for my doctor to tell me according to the carts I’m obese. Anybody has any advice please let me know. I do want to say I am a little broken bad knees, etc....

Fill out your profile and set it for low exercise and stick to the calorie limit mfp gives you. .. Log everyday and be patient.
As for knees, try swimming, or any exercise that's gentle on them..
