Hi,
My name is Latoya and I am currently a licensed mental health counselor who basically sits in a chair for 8 hours a day with little movement around the office. I had my first child 5 years ago come November and I can no longer make excuses for this pouch I have and how big my stomach still looks. I know that I have lost myself due to thinking this is it for me now that I have a child. As of today I have developed a new mindset and I have people who are supportive in my life who are cheering me on for this weight loss. Plus I will be traveling to Jamaica in February and am currently buying clothes I know I cannot fit with the hope that by the time my trip comes I will be able to fit everything I am buying. I am here looking for encouragement and support as you all may know this can be depressing initially. I welcome all ideas or suggestions!!!!
Thanks

Taking the journey as well. The first step is wanting to do it for you. To feel better, do better and commit to the change for your health and well-being! I'm new too and looking forward to the change!0

I cut out bread pasta rice and potatoes from my diet and the results have been great. As said above eat less move more...stand up at your desk whilst you're on the phone for example...don't take the lift but take the stairs...get your carbs from green veg...have a protein shake for breakfast...3

^^ This 100%. Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be. Many users fall victim to thinking they have to follow a certain way-of-eating that is contradictory to their habits and lifestyle, unsustainable, and only serves to set themselves up for failure.3 -

I like wearing my slim fit shirts, yesterday I wore one of my best shirts and I realize my tummy was making me very unsexy... I just want to work on it0
