I was so pleasantly surprised after inputting my stats to find that with an outline to follow, paired with healthy eating and continual exercise; I can reach my goal weight in one month. I’m all in. So excited 🤗hello all

Just make sure you didn't pick an unrealistic weightloss rate. Did you by any chance pick 2 pounds per week and/or get 1200 calories? And to lose weight, even if you can't lose that fast, you have to really be in a calorie deficit, which means logging correctly, which means using a food scale and the recipe builder and valid food entries. And if you don't want to regain, you have to build new, sustainable habits.
The challenge always turns out to be something else. Welcome to MFP!0 -
Thanks for the support, I entered 1.5 pounds for a goal of 5 pounds in 1 month. At present I am down 4 poinds. My goal date is 9/24. I am right on track and actually am following a Keto based diet.
The weight given by fitness pal in my opinion is completely unrealistic, telling me that I should be down to 125, a 12 pound deficit in a month. Losing weight should be done healthy and in a manner that promotes long term success.
Good luck on your journey!0
