When I started out I was at 144 and I got down to 138. But now I have jumped up to 142.8 I’m confused on what I’m doing wrong. I try to eat right and work out when I can. What am I doing wrong?

Probably not doing anything wrong. Even at your weight, you can fluctuate a few pounds every day due to factors like water retention, intestinal content, menstrual cycle, etc.
What is your goal weight?0 -
How tall are you? How many calories is your allowance, and are you sticking to it; are you using a food scale? When did you start?
Exercise is good for you, but doesn't really drive weightloss. "Eating right" doesn't mean anything when it comes to weightloss, unless it means "eating in a calorie deficit, consistently, for real, and for a long time".0
