Best investment ever, a Food Scale. Whether digital, battery operated, should be a fixed fixture in the life of those trying to lose the weight. I am so learning this.

digital is better and one that weighs in grams. I had one like in the pic you posted and its going to be inaccurate by a bit

I was looking at it from top down and although not exactly on Zero...seems to be wrong. Rethinking investment. 🧐😩😳😁1

The good thing about digital food scales is you can just put your plate on it and TARE it out (reset it to zero) between each ingredient and you don't dirty that little bowl and don't have to keep putting things in and taking them out.10

I blew the pic up and it looks more like 2 ounces according to the scale, but the cup looks like it may be 3 but looks can be deceiving. I dont eat tuna anymore so I cant say for sure.1 -
Best bit about going digital is the Tare function. Can be used in two really helpful ways
1. You can weigh all your ingredients in one container just by hitting TARE and resetting the scale to zero after each.
2. You can weigh your portions by putting the container on the scale, hitting TARE to reset to zero. Then the amount you removed will show up as a negative number on the scale. For example, put the jar of peanut butter on the scale and zero it with the TARE function. Scoop some out with your knife. The scale now reads -18g you've just put 18g of peanut button on your toast (no extra clean up necessary.
