New Mom ready to lose!!

Hi everyone,

I am a new mom, gave birth about 8 weeks ago and I am ready to lose. I have quit a bit to go but I am positive :) I am taking the time to plan my meals out and get a workout plan going so I will do this right. I need to get rid of this baby weight!! I have about 100-125 pounds to lose total, but right now my goal is 50 pounds. Honestly, I think that will be easy, and that's the mindset I want to keep!!

Looking forward to meeting people in my situation, or not that want to be positive and lose with me. I love new recipes so if anyone has any good ones, please send my way.

  • First off congrats on your new addition to your family. I have a 7 yr old and my daughter is the best thing ever. 2nd, you can do this. You have the drive and determination. Stay committed. It's not going to be easy at first but once you get addicted to working out and eating healthy then you will not want to turn back as long as you realize it's a lifestyle change.

    Congrats! My baby girl is 3 months old and I'm workiing on losing the baby weight also! We can do it!

    You have an amazing mindset on how to tackle it. The little goals have really helped me along the way. I have bigger goals and they just keep coming and coming. As you have already stated planning is key. If you are able to plan it makes the action that much easier.

    I do not have any kids but I love to cook and recipe share. Feel free to add me. I have a few different ones that I really do enjoy. Right now I am addicted to a spicy cooked cabbage recipe.
