How many miles from where you were born do you live now? me - born in Hartford Ct - live 1500 miles from birth city.

    born in a small town in west texas.
    live like 70 miles from there now and still go back to visit fairly regularly (my pops still lives there)

    I was born in the Kansas City area and I still live here (unfortunately) but in a different part. My house to the hospital I was born in are 24.4 miles apart.

    I just don't like it here... every time I travel to somewhere beautiful like the mountains, I get a little depressed to come home.

    I relocated to where I am now w basically no money,. no home. knew no one as a friend to hang out w - i had just what I could put in my car. a room I rented off craigslist. i have had a decent job since a month after i got here.,.,..nothing fancy but pays the bills. i now have my own apt w a big balcony to enjoy the beautiful weather.../i lived in the same place for 53 years...i have been here now for 5 years . i never regret the chance that i took to relocate and never think about where i used to live.

    im telling you all this because...the world is your oyster...LIVE WHERE - EVER YOU WANT! and if you don't like it move again..and again etc. the internet is good that way = you can get a job and housing before you even move.

    When my cousins were little they made up a rhyme of words they thought sounded funny. If I remember correctly, it started out:

    Kankakee, Cranky, Pudding, Milk

    I don't think I ever knew it was a real place, but they did grow up partly in IL.

    I was born in WV, but I live in OH. The town that I live in is literally a rock throw away from the town I was born in, even though its a different state, its just right over the bridge. If I had to guess I'd say 10 miles.
