How do you tally up your marinade?

How do you add caloric value with marinade? I marinade mostly with Yoshida's sauce (from Costco) or with Italian dressing. Most of the marinade goes down the drain though...so does marinade add very little in calories to meat?

I would measure the marinade before using it, and then measure the leftover. If you know how many calories are in the marinade, then you can figure out how much you're consuming by taking it out of the difference.0

Ah what a great question! I was asking myself this the other night while making chicken! Considering each piece of whatever youre making will be different and there will (might) be multiple items... Im not too sure that previous person's measuring would be that accurate.0

Weigh your meat before you marinate it and after. Log the difference as whatever portion of a serving. You can see how many grams are in a tablespoon online. That is how I do it. It is usually only a TBS or so.0
