Hello everyone! I am Tamiah and I’m working towards joining the airforce. However I am required to lose 20 pounds before I can go forward with my journey. I need all the motivation and support i can get. Good luck to everyone!

Hi Tamiah. I'd say don't rely on motivation to get you through, as you already have the most compelling, concrete reasons to lose weight-- you want to achieve your dreams, fulfil your ambitions, serve your country and have a brilliant, life changing career. Aim to lose .5-1lb a week. Aiming for anything more than that may end up in frustration. Slow loss and maintenance will help keep off the weight. Weigh and log everything you eat, and use the forums for questions you have. I've no doubt you'll reach any goal you set yourself.1
