Yes it really works. As a matter of fact I did it as a teenager as my lifestyle not knowing someday it would be advisable

It works if you are in a calorie deficit to lose weight, just like anything else.2

"I works" is kinda vague. But so is "intermittent fasting", so there you go.2

I’ve lost weight, gained weight and maintained weight while doing IF. So “it works” for anything, according to what your calorie intake is. Calories are what matter, not what time you eat them3
