Abs/Butt exercises and HRM

The grocery shopping thread got me wondering about this......so today was the first day I used my HRM to see what kind of calories I burned doing abs/butt exercises. My HR never really elevated much, a little but obviously not like it does during cardio. But I still burned 81 calories in about 12 min or so. Do you people add that to your diary?

If it's out of your normal daily routine...absolutely.0

I do some sort of strength routine every day, focusing on different muscle groups from day to day. It doesn't seem like much, but calories burned really do add up. Workout DVDs like The Biggest Loser series have a few out there that have strength training segments and I've burned up to 300 calories following their strength training portions alone.
As Irene8509 said, as long as it's part of your daily workout, you should totally log it!
Hope all is well, xo

Well I eventually want to start doing these kinds of exercises everyday...so after that it would be normal routine right?0
