Also, did 3x10 deep squats last night, and my knees didn't hurt! WOO-HOO!46 -

Non-Scale Victory. Something positive that happened as a result of weight loss that doesn't involve a scale.5

Signed up to gym and have been going a couple times a week without severe anxiety attacks! Have PT each week ( never thinking I would go that route) and loving it! My hometown gym is small and I realized mostly women go so I’m getting a lot more comfortable. I have booked 6 sessions with a trainer (used 2) and think this is really the right move for me. I’m hoping at the end of the 6 sessions I’ll feel comfortable enough to carry this through myself!
Pushing past boundaries I’ve never crossed before feels empowering! I’ve been an introvert for many years, so to go past my comfort zone in working out in public has been very rewarding. Even if the “public” hasn’t been more that three people in the gym at any given time, I still feel fantastic30 -

Had a PR to boot , likely the adrenaline from the exchange. the NSV: do what you gotta do to be true to you.
You gotta share your retort. Can't leave us hanging like that!
I need to know as well!!
Man, the nerve!

Was told today by a co-worker that my shirt looks more like a dress than a shirt and needs to be retired. I smiled the rest of the day.31

Wow! My husband says his retort in your place would have been, "Shouldn't you be at home eating cookies?" Hard to believe the nerve of some people!15 -
At the end of July I bought a little summery dress from an online shop with no returns. It did zip but was too tight through the torso to look right. Tonight I was getting dressed up to go out and since this is probably close to the last time I can get away with a summery dress until next year, I decided to revisit it - and it fit fine! I've been in maintenance since June and holding pretty much steady, waist isn't measuring any smaller but it's hard to know whether you're being consistent in measuring your waist since so much depends on time of day, what you ate, etc. but apparently my attempt at recomp is having some effect!31

I wearing size 10(UK) jeans today. I forgot that they were size 10 when I bought them, although I did pick up the 12s and try them on and then had to swap them for the smaller size because they didn't fit.
Okay it's M&S so there's certainly some vanity sizing at play, however, this is the first time I've been even able to properly wear a size 10, let along actually find them comfortable enough to buy.26 -
Oh I have another one that I forgot about until I was sorting out my logging for breakfast:
Yesterday I had a KFC (planned and logged). I took the lid off the burger because I didn't want to fill myself up on bread (I'd rather have chips) and then I didn't eat all the chips because I was full. Stopping eating because I am full is very much a new thing for me. Especially if I've logged it. I figure that if I've logged it I might as well eat it, however I'm learning that it's fine to leave the food I don't want to eat, even if I have logged it. It doesn't matter.44 -
I also do that sometimes.Log the food and not eat the full portion,or not eating any of it.Feeling very good about myself thenOh I have another one that I forgot about until I was sorting out my logging for breakfast:

It looks like I’m now into a size 30” waist jeans and I’m not getting tired as quick when I’m running!31

My nsv is getting back on mfp. I lost 30 kg 3 years ago and this past year or so I've gained 10kg back!34

Today I was running late for work and grabbed the first pair of scrub pants that matched my top. When I got into work, I realized that was a huge mistake. Those scrubs were my old size 18 (XL) and were literally falling down. I'm currently wearing a size MEDIUM. Luckily, I had a pair of medium Operating Room scrubs in my locker. I didn't match with my top, but I didn't care. Haha.35

I bought a pair of jeans off the rack, a size smaller. Didn't try them on because I didn't have the time. Came home and they fit!30

I've been looking through the thread "If it didn't have calories ..." recently, and just now I realized that a lot of the food posted there - especially the sweet stuff - doesn't look appetizing to me anymore. You could probably set it in front of me and I wouldn't eat it, just because I don't want to, not because I shouldn't. So I guess you can definitely call that an NSV!32

Wore a Tshirt, and it was firm around my chest and hung like a drape around my waist....

I find this when I'm looking at Pintrest or Instagram. Both routinely show me foodie postings as I am always looking for interesting recipes but most of the rich, cheesy, super creamy or sticky things just do not appeal at all. I say a recipe for a supr cheesy Mac n cheese which was then pressed and wrapped in a puff pastry roll made me feel a bit nauseous!

So (this feels really stupid just typing this out), today- for the first time in my life- I threw away an empty bottle of multivitamins. I didn't just buy a bottle, take one or two for a few days, and then leave it on my bathroom counter to expire in a year. I've taken a multivitamin every day, and I've got its replacement bottle in place ready to go. And yes, I've logged them every day in my diary.
It's a small thing, but it is a first for me, and I'm taking it as my good news for the week as I seem to have hit a scale plateau .41 -
Reached Onederland this morning.

I fit into a beautiful party dress that hasn't fit for two years, and that I had only ever worn once. It is special to me because I wore it for my going away party when I moved country.
I'm looking forward to giving it a few more outings before it becomes too big!37 -
Doing a bit of outlet shopping today. Got a blazer at the Gap Outlet for 60% off, **in a size 4**!!! Fit like it was made for me:)36

I was at an event in a gym and was able to the run, jump, twist and sit on the edge of the stage. Just last year I had to go around to the stairs to get on the stage.31

After an exhausting kickboxing workout, I decided I needed a cooldown. Kickboxing gym is right near a state park, so I stopped there for a walk... which turned into a 6+ mile hike. And it felt so good!36

Gained another notch back on my belt this week31

Dug out my bin of Fall clothes. My NSV: I don't have any more clothes "to fit into one day". I went through all of them and they either fit now or I got rid of them because they were too big! Even some of my "skinny clothes" were too big. Now I have room in my closet for some new smaller clothes to reward myself for my hard work. I just bought a size 6 pair of jeans that fit perfectly! Crazy.42

I had a blow out day yesterday at a beer festival with friends. Today I’m back on programme, got my meal prep list to do later and I’m heading out for the food shopping and do my next couch to 5k plod. I like that I’ve found the strength to let one day off not become a weekend off36
