Ugh! Dragging today...

I'm so un-motivated today... I woke up around 4:30p Wednesday (I work overnights) but I typically wake up around 3p. I got to Wednesday night church @ 5:30, left at 7:15p and when I got home all I wanted to do was sleep on the couch! :noway: I decided against doing that, drank my pre-workout (PreSurge Unleashed), dragged myself to the gym with the idea that once the blood gets flowing I'll be OK. :frown: I just couldn't get motivated at the gym either! I finished doing my legs/calves, got home a little after 9p and laid down for 30 mins before I had to get ready for work. :yawn:

If anyone has any motivation to spare, PLEASE send some my way!?! :smile:

    Hey man everyone has dips in motivation. You went anyway which is a good thing. Give it til tomorrow and it will come back!

    P.S, remember, the undead dont have down days.

    Thanks bro! Yeah, I'm just hoping it's just a "thing" I'm going through today. And you're right, the undead are relentless! :laugh:
  • There are days we're pumped and ready to go... and then there are those days where you have just got to do it. Robot mode. Gear on, get to the gym, don't even give yourself time to make up an excuse. That's what you did. You just went. You did it. Motivation will always come and go, it's unreliable. There's always tomorrow.

    And yes, motivation isn't a constant thing. If it continues, maybe try something new and different, make it a bit more exciting. Or just force yourself to go because at least then you can feel good that you still went and did it.
