I have eaten 1160 calories today, my goal is set for 1490 but it is currently 9pm and I do not think I could eat another thing!

Should I just leave it or eat even though I am REALLY full atm?

If you're full, don't eat.

Ideally get to 1200 though 1160 is fairly close it should be ok for today, as long as you get to 1200 + most days i think

When its late at night and i'm full but need to up my calories i have a nighttime tea from Whittards - 160 calories and yummy

    Good luck
  • I personally don't see the point in eating if you are full!

In general, they say not to eat under 1,200 calories per day.
But again, once in a while, if you are full, I would throw that rule out the window! ;)

Just be sure not to make a habit of it...

Yeah dw I generally eat between 1350-1450 every day! Never slipping back into those bad habits of not eating ever again!
  • If you're that full, I wouldn't force yourself, but do try to plan better so that you get more calories in throughout the day x

I do try to plan, just this one day work was so busy so I could not end up getting a break. I had some bread when I got home and then dinner couple hours later.

If you're full you shouldn't push yourself to eat more. Typically it isn't healthy to eat a large amount of food right before bed anyways (reference article: http://fitnessblackbook.com/diet-tips/is-it-okay-to-eat-right-before-going-to-bed-yes-and-no/ )... and in most cases, depending on what you eat, 330 calories might be around that level.

However, if it would give you peace of mind, a small dairy snack would be a good before bed treat. It is said that milk has calcium and tryptophan that aids in sleep (reference article: http://ezinearticles.com/?Calcium-Supplements-for-Better-Sleep&id=585222). A glass of milk, cheese and crackers, or even some yogurt and fruit are all simple small treats you could enjoy before bed that might even help you sleep.
