Loose Skin

I started about 4 weeks ago and doing well. I lost 2" from my waist, but I have loose skin. I've just started weight training- will this help with getting rid of the loose skin?

    Hi there! Loose skin is a thing and many factors go into loose skin: age, genetics, the amount of weight lost, etc. There are quite a few good threads here about loose skin-also check out "obese to beast" on Youtube!

    Skin takes a bit longer to catch up to weight loss. It can continue to tighten up for another year or two, but it is possible that it will never completely go away. You won't know for a while yet.

    If you're talking about loose skin from 4 weeks and 2 inches of loss, it's way too early to even consider worrying about it. Weight training is generally always a good idea, though.
