I would normally hang my clothes to dry to prevent them shrinking. Now I put them in the dryer and I can still wear them. That's a really good feeling.32

You guys, my mom sent over my uniform skirt from ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. I was able to get it up, but not zip. It's about the same size as my goal skirt, except the goal skirt is stretchy, whereas the uniform skirt is more fit to waist.
I can't even right now. Guys.
Then hubs says, "well you look just like you did in high school."
WHAT....IS....HAPPENING!!!!!!!
Glory to God!

While sitting on the side of the pool today my husband told me how good and firm I looked in a 2-piece suit. Looks like the past year of running has worked.31

Grabbed a random sweater from the closet today, put it on, and then realized it was the one that had always fit very, very snug. Not anymore!26
-
I ate oatmeal today with nothing on it and didn’t die! What a surprise 😄33
-
I completed C25K today. Hadn't even run a mile since perhaps middle or high school (and I'm approaching 40). I may be slow...very slow...but at least I got it done!
(My next goal is a SV...just 10 lbs to go before I hit 100 dropped...)35 -
I did a boudoir photo shoot this weekend, and I rocked it! I was confident, had fun with it and the pictures turned out amazing! Never thought in a million years I'd have the guts to do that!
So my NSV was doing something new that I would have never done before my weightloss!37 -
I didn't have to lay down on the bed to pull my bathing suit on!25

I got some tank tops to work out in a few days ago. I didn't have time to try them on so I just got the size that I have been getting that was almost too small in Aug. Well they are way to big now. Good thing I only paid $1 for them.24

I battled social anxiety last week to go to the gym (I only do strength/lifting at the gym) by myself as my gym partner was engaged in a work event. I felt good coming out of that week having gone three times! By myself! To lift!
I did a size check last night at the mall (the electric company killed our internet which is also our tv, etc) and so we went out to eat and to walk the mall rather than the neighborhood. Gave us new sights and such. I can get INTO the pants that are a size smaller than the dragonpants, but not quite button them up yet. Well, I could have buttoned them up if I wanted them to bite into me, lol. Another 5kg or so, and I'll try 'em on again. I didn't buy them, because they didn't call to me like the dragonpants did oh so long ago.
Progress is progress, at least!31 -
I've lost 16.75 inches between 8/1 and 10/1.31

Can hardly wait for mine. Guess what I'll be wearing?

Spent the morning walking around an unseasonable hot pumpkin patch chasing my 3 and 5 year olds, while babywearing my 22lb 13 month old. Yes I was hot and miserable, but much less miserable than I would have been 35lbs ago.
My victory was letting them go back and do the maze and cow train ride after I was well ready to go.29 -
I went to a friend's new apartment, and it was a couple stories up - I went up the stairs quickly and wasn't out of breath at the top. I didn't even realize it until later, when other people were complaining about the stairs.24
-
That happened to me the other day as well. I used to dread having to go back up the stairs if I forgot something, now it doesn't bother me.13
-
After not seeing a friend in the last 3 months. I saw him this weekend and the FIRST thing he said to me was "omg you're tiny"... I haven't been described as tiny in almost a decade.31

I was at church Sunday and I realized I could walk through the pews without turning sideways! I just walked straight through!43

I'm at a bit of a plateu, so I took some measurements. I've lost about an inch all over in the month I only lost 2 pounds, 14.5 inches over all when I add up all the spots I measure!!29

I was exhausted at the end of work. In the past that would mean cereal or fast food for dinner, but I stuck with my original dinner plans AND after dinner I got a second wind.26
-
Yesterday I had a “hungry day”. Woke up hungry, even. lol. Instead of eating my way through the kitchen, I went out and did some errands and had some hot tea when I got home. Managed to wait till dinner, had my pre-planned treat before bed and ended the day within my calorie allotment!

Yesterday I was on the recumbent bike at the gym. It was the first time I didn’t feel the need to put a towel or my arms over my jelly belly while I exercised!!26
-
After saying that I'll give it a go for years, I finally started Couch to 5k yesterday. And it wasn't as awful as I thought it would be.26
-
Yesterday I stayed in a crouched position for a long time while inspecting at the supermarket, then eventually stood up without putting my hand down on the floor OR making a moaning noise41

For the past several years I have been getting Halloween candy that I don't like so that I don't eat it. I have learned to control myself, currently I eat one mini or fun size candy bar a day. Now that I have learned control I can purchase Halloween candy that I enjoy without having to worry about over eating because it is sitting around the house.28

Wore a dress to a wedding that I haven’t fit into in about 15yrs. I actually think I looked better in it this time around!30

Did an hour of zumba yesterday and it was super easy. Unlike in college when I thought I was going to have a heart attack. lol29

I have two:
1. I knew I needed new jeans, but really wasn't sure if I would get into the size I was hoping for. Well, I did, and they're an 8!! It makes a real difference in the way I look and can actually see my progress by having clothes that fit.
2. Someone took a picture of me and not only did I not hate it, I actually liked it. That hasn't happened in a long time.30 -
Just one, finally getting under 290lbs.35

I get to stop taking my diabetic medication ,metformin! Have to check my numbers in a month to see if i can be off them forever. One step closer.52
