I really do have gigantic legs especially the backs under my butt. Looking in the mirror sideways my leggs literally stick out further than my rear, NOT attractive!!. Also saddle bags are an understatment! Looking for the best exercise for this problem. THANKS

There is no one best exercise, cardio and strength training along with diet will get you there. If you don't run, walk, do zumba, go to a cardio dance class, squats and real lunges (feet at least a yard apart), and various types of both. I used to do a "thin thighs" dvd that was excellent. you can build those muscles all you want, but you gotta burn that fat.0

Squat & lunges ( done the right way!!!) all different kinds using your own body weight. Check out bodyrock.tv she has great many exercises for many different kinds of leg exercises0

I feel like I have bigger legs too. I have added weight training to the cardio that I already do. I do 1 hour of weights: warm up, squats, chest, back, triceps, biceps, lunges, shoulders, and abs. The program I follow is Body Bump by Les Mills...www.lesmills.com. I do it 2x sometimes 3x a week. In 3 months my legs have significantly changed!!! Dead lifts are great for the area underneath your butt. I have always had bulky calves and they are thinning out. Major major changes. I work out 3x a week with cardio.0

Weight loss is best for me when it comes to trimming down my legs but walking, especially hills or pushing a stroller seems to tone the muscles which diminishes cellulite (dimples). I recommend sticking religiously to the MFP calorie plan and adding brisk walking for 60 minutes, 6 days a week. If you can't walk that much yet, start slow and build gradually - wear a pedometer to keep yourself honest on your progress. Good luck!!0

I've got really bad news for you...
You cannot "Spot reduce" fat. People have natural places where they store fat first, and they are the last places to lose fat.
Most women store fat in the hips and thighs/butt. Some store it lower, like you, in the legs/thighs.
The good news: The more fat you have, the quicker you will lose at first. Your first 1-3 months of losing weight should be your most dramatic results! You will lose fat all over your body, in proportion to how much of the fat you are carrying in each location (mostly).
Keep at it! Hard work and dedication will give you the results you want. Proper nutrition is very, very, very important! If you can get the nutrition part down, you have this battle mostly won!
Good luck!0 -
I have a similar problem (I feel like a weeble on a good day). I have seen a huge improvement with a mix of activities. For Cardio, I am running and spinning and I also do a body pump class at least 2 days a week which includes a lot of lunges and squats. Good luck to you!:flowerforyou:0
