It was one year yesterday when it finally clicked that I needed to do something to change my life. I had been on a "diet" for years, but still continued to gain weight :) Having so much weight to lose it seemed absolutely impossible to do. I would look at people on here and think there is no way that I could lose that much weight. It seemed soooooo overwhelming. I took it one day at a time, had my ups and downs....but kept pushing myself. I have never been happier. I started off just wanting to lose weight, but has turned into so much more. I wake up everyday excited to work out. I LOVE IT!! I never, ever thought I would say that. My new goal is to become fit...not thin (that will just be a bonus)...I want to be fit!! It doesn't matter how long it takes. One year ago I used to say to myself "How can I be on a diet for a year or more"? Now I can't imagine myself living any other way. I still have days or weeks when I struggle, but who doesn't struggle with their goals???? Well, here is my progress so far......(hopefully the pics post right)
