I have an office job, I sit pretty much 8hrs a day 5 days a week. If I constantly bounce my legs up and down as if anxious, Does that help burn more calories?

I know that's probably a dumb question, but it popped in my head this morning.

I remember reading something about that somewhere but couldn't find the exact article. Here's a similar post I thought you might find interesting (from a different website,):flowerforyou:

  • This Might sound silly and I don't know if it's just my mothers Filipino wise tales, but she use to get mad and slightly smack my thighs saying constantly bouncing my legs is bad for blood flow to my heart. Really? I mean it kinda makes sense, but I stopped doing it lol

I'm a leg bouncer too. I'm constantly being chastised for it but I can't help myself, I do it all the time. Now I just respond that I'm burning calories, haha. I still get told to stop because I'm shaking the table, person or chair but I haven't stopped. Every little bit counts.
