New to Kansas and looking for weight loss buddies

Hello everyone! I moved to Kansas from Tennessee about 6 months ago and I really miss all my family and friends back in Tennessee. I work in Manhattan and I'm 32 years old so since its a college town its hard to meet friends around my age. I stay pretty busy with work and I have met a few people through work but no one to really go get coffee with, workout, walk around town or go shopping or just take a drive and travel a bit. I have my boyfriend here but just not the same as having a good friend to go do things with.
