1. I ran a mile all the way through!
2. I ate without tracking or wearing my fitbit at my friend's wedding (which I was happily standing up in) and was able to get right back on track the next day. This was a huge step for me because I felt like I was becoming a little obsessive about my weight loss and activity goals. It was a nice breather and I proved to myself that I can stay on track even after a bad day of eating, which in the past would've derailed me!35 -
Tossed all my size 16 pants in the donation bin--won't be needing those again!25

Wow it took me almost a week to get caught up on this post after not looking at it for about 6 weeks.
I bought my first size Large shirt in 20+ years! The downside is the sleeves aren't long enough in a large for me. Should have tried it on first.
My second NSV is I realized on Sunday that when my Grandson hugged me his hands met at my back. He's 7.

So, there I was, standing idly in the kitchen, not really engaged in any thought process worthy of the name, when I realized that my pajama pants were slowly sliding off of my hips.33

Yep...twas I!
My backside is the bane of my life, whether in my current shape or when I was obese. Felt like it was back there secretly snacking no matter what....hard to believe the one in the photo belongs to me!
Haha, I know right?? I'm convinced it's developed a conscious brain & sneaks all sorts of goodies! What other explanation could there possibly be for 2 clothing size differences between top half & bottom half? I'm in control of the top half but the derriere simply isn't upholding it's end of the bargain
I have the opposite problem - no hips/bum and too much top. They are now on the run but it has taken forever for dresses to fit! 🤣🤣
Haha! Ahh, it's so strange how all of our bodies are so different!
I've got through the grief of my boobs going down 2 cup sizes....I'm quite grateful as it means I can get smaller dresses that look good on top & hide the snacking derriere rather well. (Love me an A-line!)
Feel your pain so much though because with certain cuts, bottom half looks great but top half is too baggy & makes me look larger than I am. Fashion is the enemy, for sure!
Ahhh, you'll be beautiful no matter what shaped fruit you are haha!
I'm definitely a pear (even when morbidly obese)but for some reason folk see hourglass a lot....
Always makes me want to drop to my knees dramatically & yell into the sky "NOT WITH THESE BOOBS!"
🤣

Thanks for such a lovely compliment. You're a peach!
I have a theory that people seem to think that big boobs are associated with vivaciousness. My big boobs seem to make me come off as more vivacious than I really am, and maybe your vivaciousness makes you seem more busty than your bra size would indicate?

Haha! Love looking at other lassies...theyre so beautiful & pretty, no matter
the shape. That sounds quite creepy typed out now I read it, but it's true! Peach....funny how that's the apparent beauty standard for the derriere...we should replace apple with peach, it's way cuter...just like the "apple" folk!
Well! That's something to consider....funny how assumptions can be made over something we have little control over (except surgery)....
I've been described as an animated(very recently too) talker so I've no idea if that counts....tbh it just made me want to stuff my hands in my pockets forever more 😂🙈. Apparently it "just means you're creative though!" I'm not particularly .... another assumption? Haha4 -
this morning i got to tighten my belt a notch... not a huge amount but its a step in the right direction...

Felt just a little smaller and lighter yesterday. Had an awesome day of eating and minimal snacking, got exercise. Scale is not down this morning but it will be eventually!!26

I have been in a weight loss/fitness challenge over the last 3 weeks. I am an insulin dependent diabetic. I have reduced the amount of insulin I need by over 25%. That is a HUGE deal.52

I did 40 sit ups in a minute! 5 months ago I could only do 2326

When standing up from a seated position, I no longer have to obsess about making sure my shirt is pulled down just right to cover everything. I just stand up, and it usually falls down on its own. And if it doesn't, it's no big deal because I have nothing to hide! Such a liberating feeling!
Along with that - when I get up, I don't need to rock or push off with my hands. I can just do it! I didn't even realize I was doing the other things until I no longer was and it feels AWESOME! Congrats!22 -

Physically animated people burn a few more calories than very placid people: Don't put your hands in your pockets. Animation is an NSV in itself.13 -
For the past two weeks I've only eaten when I was hungry.43

Two PR lifts this morning. Damn it feels good!25

I just pulled a pair of size 16 jeans off the high shelf in the closet, to see if I could get them past my thighs. I have not been able to wear them for a long time. I pulled them all the way up and they **buttoned!**37

I can almost see my abs when I flex.23
