I was at an event in a gym and was able to the run, jump, twist and sit on the edge of the stage. Just last year I had to go around to the stairs to get on the stage.

After an exhausting kickboxing workout, I decided I needed a cooldown. Kickboxing gym is right near a state park, so I stopped there for a walk... which turned into a 6+ mile hike. And it felt so good!

Dug out my bin of Fall clothes. My NSV: I don't have any more clothes "to fit into one day". I went through all of them and they either fit now or I got rid of them because they were too big! Even some of my "skinny clothes" were too big. Now I have room in my closet for some new smaller clothes to reward myself for my hard work. I just bought a size 6 pair of jeans that fit perfectly! Crazy.

I had a blow out day yesterday at a beer festival with friends. Today I’m back on programme, got my meal prep list to do later and I’m heading out for the food shopping and do my next couch to 5k plod. I like that I’ve found the strength to let one day off not become a weekend off

Walked my two miles both weekend days. Usually, I get one day in. Trying to get a minimum of two everyday instead of just steps.

I've tried three new classes at the gym this week.

Usually I like to workout on my own so they were a bit out of my comfort zone! Hopefully I will be a bit more coordinated next week!

And today I removed a link from my watch strap! Just before I started this journey, my watch had become very tight and uncomfortable to wear, and I was looking around for a replacement band. Deciding to change my wrist rather than the strap was the better decision!!

@IHaveMyActTogether Thanks! I have several martial artist of diffrent kind among my friends on mfp. I think counting calories really help with the weight management so you can make hitting your weightclass easier.

My jeans today are a size smaller - they're my 'skinny(ier) jeans' that I kept and haven't fit into them in over a year..:)

I made pancakes and fit them into my calories! They are apple-stuffed so they have quite a lot of bulk without being too high-calorie. I also put apple butter instead of syrup on, which I think is where the big calorie savings came from. I had a history of over-restricting so being able to have a food like pancakes is important to me.

My NSV is that I figured out how to make roasted broccoli!!! I've been trying for a long time and it'd never turn out. But I'm so pleased! I'm actually craving some as I type this and I don't think I'll ever eat broccoli any other way now

Injured my hip in late June and have barely done more than bw lower body workouts since then—beyond frustrating. I finally found a PT who is treating me like an athlete, instead of my ortho (who said since I can do everyday chores, etc wo pain, well, be happy with that

).

A few sessions of incredibly painful dry needling and I felt good enough to actually do some light deadlifts—I tried not to get carried away and hurt myself again, but that’s the first time in so long I felt like myself again! Definitely going to keep taking things super slow, but I’m seeing a glimmer of hope that I can rehab this successfully.

My NSV was fitting my favorite takeout into my calories yesterday- and still came in under goal. (While feeling totally full and satiated) It’s really nice to know I can still have some favorite foods without banking calories or going hungry. (Because I’m personally really bad at doing either of those things)
