"On a diet" - diets end, and that's why you fail.
"Turn muscle to fat" and vice versa - facepalm*
The word "toned"
BMI being hailed as more important than BF%
"I don't want to lift because I'll get bulky"...yeah, cause getting big is easy

Starvation mode and how you would gain weight if you didn't eat enough calories 🤔15

"You must feel so much better after losing all that weight!"8

Get RIIIPPPPED! In just 14 minutes a day by purchasing my bogus program and products!9

Eat this root / oil / fruit / unicorn and it will help melt the fat away.
Also, anything heavier than 10 lbs is heavy for a woman. You don't want heavy. It will make you look like a bull!
And another favorite of mine, „Anything I eat past 6 PM goes straight to my thighs”. I must be 70% thighs by this logic.10 -
People who have been eating 3000+ calories daily to get obese but then suddenly think they can't manage 1200 per day.33

Diet shakes/skinny coffee/skinny lollipops that will somehow help all of that fat just melt away6

"You need at least 250 grams of protein /day to lose weight"....from a weightloss/health program I tried out once (for free)3

Oh God this one REALLY gets me too - are we bad people?! I have to just ignore any threads about this "problem".
Mine...
"You can't eat that - you're either on a diet or not!" Well, I'm not, I'm just eating less.
"You need to exercise more!" No I don't, exercise didn't get me to lose 20lbs so far, eating less did.
"You can't eat after 6pm!" I can and I will and I have.
"You shouldn't buy any more clothes until you've lost some more weight!" No, I will look FABULOUS the whole way down, thank you.
"Look at the sugar in that, you shouldn't eat that!" ORLY? Give me all the sugar.
"Are you eating again?!" Yes. Yes I am. No you can't have any.

"BMI doesn't affect me" Said by anyone who isn't very muscular as a method to justify the fact that they are obese
Any time anyone says that they've "Only" lost a certain amount when it's a more than healthy rate of weight loss
"Stubborn Belly Fat"
"I've been eating super clean, why aren't I losing weight"
"I'll start again tomorrow"14 -
"detox" anything...I think my Liver & Kidneys will do just fine thank you9

Happened to me. After I changed my life, I had about three months where I struggled to get to 1000 calories. I just had no appetite at all. It was great.
So what’s your issue with it?22 -
"I can't lose any weight! I have lost only 10lbs last month, why am I not losing weight?"
*facepalm* When people expect to lose like 5lbs a week.14 -
People still thinking ACV and grapefruit is the answer to all their weight loss prayers.
Thinking you need to drink a million litres of water a day to lose weight
People who still think green tea is gonna magically shed pounds
“Carbs make you fat”

Great for you, but you know as well as I do that 9/10 people who are posting this sort of thread just aren't logging right or are in the "I've just started my diet" novelty phase where the hunger just hasn't kicked in yet. It just happens to irritate me a little bit, I am sure there are plenty of threads you wander into yourself that make you eyeroll for whatever reason.20 -

Actually, I don’t know that. I know that that is the assumption that everybody makes, but that’s not at all the same thing.9 -

Ok, maybe you don't see as many of these threads as I do, but in almost all of them, once you speak to the OP this is normally the case. I don't make assumptions, I ask questions of the OP.

Gluten free this and gluten free that 🤦🏽♂️
Placebos have shown that 95% of people claiming a gluten intolerance simply have psychosomatic symptoms.20 -
Women: "I don't want to lift weights, b/c my shoulders are already HUGE."
