deleting old account

I now have two accounts. How do I delete the old one if I can't access it? If I search with the old user name it's still there. I was forced to set up a new account because I couldn't get assistance with the old account in changing the password.

    @Betty was I supposed to message you or what? I did and didn't get a reply. I just need help and no one seems to be able to address my issues.

    It's an ongoing issue that is being worked on, I've read that they're a bit overwhelmed with this forced password change thing that happened on October 1.

    If you wait until you hear from Tech, you will likely be able to get back in your old account.

    Sorry. Betty is an mfp staff member. I was hoping she would see the message and give you some help. As cmriver said above, they don't work on weekends. Try tech support and hopefully she'll see the post today too.

    Thanks all for the tag! @cmriverside is correct the best thing to do is to contact our support team at https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/emails/new. They are working through a large case load at the moment, but working to get to everyone as quickly as they can.

    I have contacted support tech and all I keep getting is the same reply, please read the five paragraphs below which has been no help at all. But I do appreciate the responses!
