L-carnatine making me smelly?

I was in utter tears the other day when my husband and my son said I smelled like fish. I thought it was my fish oil supplement but its not because I stopped using it. But now my coworkers mentioned it and I am mortified. How long does it take to come out of my system? I'm at work now and I'm so self conscious I could die.

    hm interesting. I've taken L-Carnitine and haven't noticed any fish smell. Or people telling me I smell like fish. I've recently started taking it again and so far no fish complaints!

    Strange, I dont smell it. Its not that I'm not clean. I'm wondering if its a combo on things semi low carb, l carnatine and juices?

    It’s a pretty common side effect. It comes out in breath and sweat. Doesn’t affect everyone though. Not sure how long it takes to dissipate.

    I worked with someone that had this issue. It was mentioned, he stopped it, and all was well. We all understand that meds can do it. I'm sure your family and coworkers understand too. It's not something we held against him in any way.
