Healthy Side Ideas for Tilapia

I need some help....I am running out of ideas for healthy sides with my grilled tilapia. I have a very picky husband but I want to eat healthy and low cal. Any suggestions???

    grilled zucchini and summer squash
    baked sweet potatoes
    corn on the cob
  • I use broccoli and Cheese mixed in with brown rice. Not really that healthy but kinda.... and an idea. I also use steamed veggies sometimes. I am bumping this because i need more ideas as well!
  • I USALLY JUST GRILL MINE IN A LITTLE OLIVE OIL & AND SLICED LEMON, WITH SOME KIND OF SPICY RUB..:smile:

    A nice cabbage salad is good. Red or white, doesn't matter. Throw in some chopped spring onions, bell peppers, carrots, broccoli stalks; whatever sounds good to you. Then use a low-fat dressing, or just red wine vinegar. Very tasty.

    Steamed broccoli is also good, or asparagus. Brussel Sprouts. Any kind of vegetable, really, steamed, goes really well with fish.

    If you want to have a carb, maybe some brown rice or whole wheat pasta.

    Couscous for a carb or I second the grilled zucchini and squash! Yum!

    Need recipe please! Sounds fabulous and something very different.

    Wonderful suggestions thanks a bunch! Love me some grilled squash of any kind for sure and asparagus is one of my favs!
