Hello, I have noticed that everytime I drink tap water, I start becoming nauseous. It doesn't happen with bottled water though. So I tend to drink bottled water more often, though what could be the reason.

Try filtering your home tap water with a Brita filter to see if it helps. Also, I don’t drink cold water, it can sometimes make me feel ill. I let it be at room temp, or even a little warm.

Tap water tastes gross imo. Where I live, it is heavily mineralized. I only drink spring water that is bottled.

Are you in the US? Do you drink municipal water?

Most municipal water has chlorine and chloramine added for safety, either of which could be something you are sensitive to. You can either buy yourself a filter pitcher like Brita or Pur (always nice to have cold water in the fridge) or you can fill a regular pitcher or wide mouth bottle and let it sit on the counter for a few hours to let the additives dissipate into the air. Before I bought a new fridge with a water filter and dispenser, I used a gallon sized Pur filter dispenser so I always had good tasting cold water available.

It depends on the source of your tap water. Could be the temperature of the water too, if your bottled water is warmer or cooler than your tap water. Sometimes adding a squirt of lemon juice or similar helps the taste of tap water. Some water is just nasty.
