Hello Friends,

I know how and why everyone is here. I know how it feels to be coming to a website like this or explore for any of the ways to loose weight and look better,

I was 310 Lbs when I started and now I am 195 lbs with 5-8 lbs of muscle mass. It did not even take me 2 years of focused mindset. In the last 2 years, I have cheated of my diet thousand times, didn't see the gym for 2 months several times, never had a trainer OK one day only as it was too expensive, had 10 beers almost every weekend etc etc and all the reasons why we say we cant do this.

But its about a lifestyle. Its all about bringing healthy lifestyle to your mind for ever and not for 6 months or a year. Anyways, I am not superhero, all I would say is know your BMR, create a deficit by eating right and move your body. That's it, do it for 6-10 months with a lil dedication, two things will happen, your life will change and it will become a habit.

My newest achievement: Run for 40 mins without a stop, When I started, I would not be able to run for 30 seconds even if there is 100 dollars at stake. So I was no different.

wow!! you are such an inspiration! im here to just keep track of thingsand maintain a healthy lifestyle.
in the past i never considered counting calories - i thought i had a pretty good idea of what i was doing.
little did i know i was eating way less than the recommended amount for my body to be able to function.
MFP helps me guage what i'm putting into my body and has been a great help thus far!! :)

i used MFP on the computer because i dont have a smart phone.. but i'm sure if i had one, i'd use the app!
  • Good job. Its only so far excuses will take you and I decided I no longer wanted to make excuses. Like you, I had off days where I went over calories or I didn't work out. However, I didn't let it affect my mindframe and I stuck to the plan of losing weight. So far so good.

  • you are def an inspiration to me!!

    What supplements did you take?
How many days did you hit the gym a week?
Did you watch for protein intake so you can keep your muscle?

I have a bunch of other questions, but I will stop with those for now HAHAHAHA
