Hey there, I'm happy to join you guys. Started using MFP about a week ago because I have been so aimless and realised that for the past year I have basically been losing and gaining the same few pounds and nothing has changed, I'm still in the clothes I don't want to be in, still not feeling good about myself and still not back to the energy and fitness level I used to be.
My overall goal is to lose 3st, so 42lb. But I'm starting small and my first goal is to lose a stone by the end of the year. What kind of eating plans are you all following?1 -
I just started my fitness pal the other day, I need a group to help keep me accountable and on track also!
15-20 lbs is what I would like to loose.2 -

Hey! Thanks for all the responses. I’m trying to follow 1600 cals a day. First day yesterday was interesting. I realize I eat healthy but my issue is portion control! Agh. I’m not sure how to use this the best way. I can share my diary with friends so I will try that? Any tips on how to use this better?1

Hi - I'd love to have some accountability. My goals are above. I am 47 and I feel like I've hit menopause or something. IDK... My kids are now both 'outta my hair' and I think I'm less active because of it...or do I eat too much? IDK.... I've gained 2 # in the last week and like 2 # before that. I've been struggling to find and stay at 103 like all summer and I'm TIRED of it! Its time to make a lifestyle change and it starts TODAY!
I'm kicking off the next 5 days doing protein shakes. Maybe I'll have 1 meal a day, if so, its salad and a lean protein. I think to get myself back on the right 'frame of mind' I just need to do some simple cleanse to kick it off with.
I can open my diary if you'all like. Currently I have it private.1 -

would need the support of other women too ! I want to lose 15 pounds (and then maybe 5 more). I just joined because I am newly stay-at-home mom (even though my kids are 8 and 7 y.o.) and since June, I have gained 12 pounds !!!!1
