So scared of backsliding

So I joined MFP a while ago and was making slow but steady progress. Then I got the amazing opportunity to live and work in Thailand for a year. I left the website since I had no clue how to count my calories, but amazingly I have lost about 80lbs in the last 10 months! Now I am thinking of returning to the States and I am soooo worried (make that TERRIFIED) of gaining it all back. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any similar experiences and/or advice for continuing to lose weight when I go back to the US (still have about 40lbs to go).

  • Good job on the weight loss. I have felt the same way. I would just stay away from ALL THINGS PROCESSED! Organic and fresh is the way to go.

Honey, if you survived Thailand, with those 45 gazillion fried chicken stands, America won't be a problem.

Except for heavily processed food. But really, that junk isn't worth it, especially when there's a feast of fresh yummies around the grocery store perimeter!
