Smaller belt = NSV!

My mom passed in October so I had to get together something to wear. I'm not the dressing up type very often so I had to buy most things so I expected to go shopping. What really compounded my sadness was that in addition to buying clothes for my mom's funeral I also had to BUY A BIGGER BELT.
This was the largest belt I have owned. 50" – 52". Unacceptable.
Last night, just for kicks, I tried on my "smaller" belt. I refused to toss it because realizing I was now wearing a 50" belt was toward my breaking point. It fit! And what's more it fit better than before! For as long as I can remember I wore it buckled on the 1st hole. I am now wearing it on the 2nd! I lost a whole 'nother hole which is I'm guessing about an inch.
Despite the **** going on in my life at the moment I took time to celebrate that small victory.

Small steps, thats all it takes. Congrats. I have already poked new holes in my belt; do not want to throw it out as a reminder of how out of control I was. Stay focused and good luck.0
