When i search online for some meal and its calories i get MyFitnessPal’s website with loads of items and their calories. When i search the same items in the app itself, it comes up with “nothing found”. Is there a way to sync the food info found on the website with the app(just like we sync hotmail into our phones via email app

Sometimes when I search in the app, it will first say that there are no search results for that items in my past history. Then when I click the magnifying glass so that it searches again, it does a broader search against the entire MFP database. Is it possible that you just need to click to search the second time?1

If you are using an iPhone I believe there is a known problem with the database search and they are working on a solution.0
