Anyone doing Weight Watchers w/ MFP?

I was taught how to do WW years ago and never actually went to a meeting. I am using points as well as the calorie system in MFP to track my eating. Is anyone else doing this and if so how successful have you been?

I used too. Then I realized that I was wasting money paying for WW, when MFP is so much more intuitive. So I dropped WW, and never looked back. $48 more dollars in my pocket every month.0

Are you still using the points system on your own or just tracking calories?0

Neither. I follow a low carb lifestyle now.0 -
I was doing WW online, but found this site so much better and free. I am keeping my calories at the recommended amount and exercising. No special diet, and I have felt so empowered...
I had to drop WW because I couldn't keep login foods there and here.0 -

I also found that the online program was WAY overpriced. $40 for a database? I don't think so. They should have an option for web-only (no meetings) membership for $20 or less.0 -
I'm sort of doing both. I was following the points system religiously when I first joined MFP but for the last few weeks I've been tracking the food on here. To be honest, I think it works out pretty much the same. I think being more aware of our eating habits and keeping track of what we eat is the most important thing0

Does anyone know the WW calorie range conversion? I want to be in my allotted calories because I did WW and it worked, I lost 50lbs. I know you lose point on WW so your body can keep up with the weight loss.0

What I find is better about MFP is that it holds you accountable for the fats and carbs you are eating. On WW you aren't aware of how much fat and carbs you are eating. You could eat 100% fat and still lose weight. I'm much more conscious now of putting healthy food into my body.0

A point is equal to 50 calories. If you go to this website it will give you the ranges for your weight: http://losing2gether0.tripod.com/losingtogether/id16.html0
