Looking for friends to encourage each other

Hi everyone, I’m new to this. I have a Fitbit and was using their community, but kept getting creepy guys and not people who actually wanted to help and hold each other accountable. I kinda need a drill sergeant time buddy.
Background: always been overweight according to the BMI charts but athletic. Then I got a nexaplanon birth control rod inserted in my arm. 12 months later, I’m 280 pounds. I’ve managed to lose some of it, but I’m yo-yo ing now and thought I’d try another app and hopefully find less creeps and more friends. Please add me if you think we could help each other:)

Heya Annabelle, wishing you all the best with your journey and just remember that’s what it is - a journey...everything may not pan out how we have planned it in our heads. It will be a series of ups and downs but no doubt you will achieve your fitness goals 🙂

I think you will find truly supportive people here, who are genuinely encouraging. This app and the community here has helped me immensely. I do think you will find fewer creeps!

Hi Annabelle, I will add you! I came here also looking for an accountability buddy. I have been struggling to lose weight for years, and after seeing the photos of myself as a bridesmaid in my brothers wedding, I am ready to make real changes! Anyone else on here looking for an accountability buddy, please let me know!

I’m looking for active and encouraging female fitness pals. :) Not quite a drill sergeant, but started my journey (outside of MFP) over a year ago and have been consistent
