My first step on the thousand mile journey

I've needed to make some changes to the way I treat my body.Today is my first day on MFP, second day retraining myself to eat better, and tomorrow is my first day back at the gym. I'm excited to get to work.
My plan is to do "lazy keto" and work out starting 4 days a week, then increase workouts and change my diet based on how I'm progressing.
Tonight's dinner - salmon (pressure cooked in my Instant Pot, so easy to do from frozen), sautéed dandelion greens with garlic and mustard, half an avocado. Instead of nuking something in the microwave or ordering in, I savored a home-cooked meal for the first time in a long while. Very satisfying.
I'm a woman, 5'9", and I haven't weighed myself recently (avoiding the scale for the first week) but I think I'm between 250 and 260, based on the way my clothes fit and past experience weighing myself. Glad to be here!

Welcome! First, I'm going to recommend a couple of really helpful links:
http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1234699/logging-accurately-step-by-step-guide/p1
http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1
The first covers accurate logging and some of the tools in MFP to help you make things easier. The second discusses caloric needs and setting goals. These are two of the most commonly-referenced threads on MFP; tons of people point to them as being sources of great info when you're starting out.
For more friends check out these threads which ended up gaining a lot of traction.
