Depending on your stats, what one person considers to be a low calorie snack might not meet your definition of "low calorie." How many calories are you looking for in your snacks?0

If I’m hungry, I really like the Fage 2% yogurt (the ones in individual cups), and I mix in pumpkin pie hummus (sounds weird, I know... but tastes like pumpkin pie, legit). The tartness of the yogurt and the sweetness of the “pumpkin pie” really mesh well together, plus it’s super high in filling protein. I also love those Quest cereal bars. I always carry a whole box in my car, I’ve eaten those for emergency I need food now snacks so many times. Also can’t beat just a simple piece of fruit. I’ve been really enjoying honeycrisp apples lately
..... 😳 yoghurt and hummus?!

I noticed my snack cravings dropped quite a bit when I increased my calories at breakfast and lunch.
So, my snacks are usually the rest of whatever I didn’t eat as planned at breakfast or lunch.
Ex: typical breakfast is 400-500 calories of a macro-balanced combo of some of these : eggs, oatmeal , greens , yogurt, fruit.
I will sometimes split that into two eating events and save the yogurt/fruit for the snack that answers the desire for a sweet fix.
If I eat all of that in one sitting, I don’t find myself as much craving a fix that a glass of water doesn’t take care of.
Good luck and good fitness to us all!

Pumpkin pie hummus sounds like one of those newer "dessert hummus" options. They're sweet and don't have much in common with traditional hummus.0 -
